Enable Wifi Adapter Windows 11

Go to Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Hardware and connection properties — but for enabling/disabling, it’s faster to use: Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi and toggle Wi-Fi on (if available), or use Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings → right-click Wi-Fi → Enable .

If the modern Settings app isn't detecting your adapter correctly, the "Old School" Control Panel often provides more detail.

Windows 11 has integrated adapter management directly into the modern Settings app. Open (Windows key + I). Navigate to Network & internet on the left. Click Advanced network settings .
