When South Park first aired in the United States in 1997, it was a shockwave of crude animation, profanity, and savage social satire. The challenge of bringing this show to Latin America seemed impossible. How do you translate the hyper-specific references to American celebrities, the puns, the thick southern accents, and, most importantly, the relentless vulgarity of four foul-mouthed third-graders?
