South Park En Latino ✯ [PREMIUM]

The core of this version's success lies in its casting. Unlike the English version, where Trey Parker and Matt Stone voice the majority of the boys, the Latin dub gave each character a distinct, professional actor, allowing their personalities to breathe in new ways.

When South Park first aired in the United States in 1997, it was a shockwave of crude animation, profanity, and savage social satire. The challenge of bringing this show to Latin America seemed impossible. How do you translate the hyper-specific references to American celebrities, the puns, the thick southern accents, and, most importantly, the relentless vulgarity of four foul-mouthed third-graders? The answer, as discovered by the team at the now-legendary studio Audio Post (and later others), was not to translate, but to adapt . And the result is nothing short of a masterpiece of dubbing. south park en latino
