To bridge this, server administrators run a proxy (usually BungeeCord or Velocity) equipped with the Eaglercraft plugin. This plugin translates WebSocket packets from browser players into standard Minecraft TCP packets, allowing them to join standard Spigot, Paper, or Purpur 1.8 servers alongside traditional launcher players.
