Reset Graphics Driver
This works on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Unfortunately, Mac and standard Linux distros do not have a universal "reset driver" keyboard shortcut like this.

Think of your graphics driver as the translator between your operating system and your GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). Sometimes, that translator gets overwhelmed. A rogue app, an overheating laptop, or a minor software bug can cause it to stop responding. This often causes "stuttering" in games
Right-click your graphics card (e.g., NVIDIA GeForce, AMD Radeon, or Intel Iris). Select . (Your screen may flicker).
If simple resets do not solve your problem, your driver files may be corrupted. A "clean install" completely removes the old driver and installs a fresh copy.
