The real heart of this episode, however, belongs to Georgie. For seasons, he was the punching bag of the family—the "dumb" brother. Here, we see the emergence of the savvy businessman fans know he becomes (as hinted at in The Big Bang Theory ). His negotiation skills and ability to read people highlight that "book smarts" aren't the only form of intelligence. It is a satisfying redemption arc for the character, showing that he is perhaps the most socially capable Cooper.
