TiVo Desktop was a free software application (with a paid "Plus" version) available for Windows and macOS. Its primary function was to connect to a TiVo DVR over a local home network.
While the official software is gone, the functionality to manage and transfer your recordings is still possible. In fact, the community-driven alternatives are often faster and more reliable than the old official software ever was.
TiVo no longer actively develops or supports TiVo Desktop. It has been removed from the official TiVo website for new downloads. However, you can still find archived versions on trusted legacy software repositories.
