Welding 2g Position -

The (also known as the Horizontal Position ) is a standardized position defined by the American Welding Society (AWS) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). In this position, the weld axis is approximately horizontal, and the weld face is approximately vertical. The welder deposits the weld bead from the side, moving horizontally.
