But, knowing Sheldon, this "little ball of fib" doesn't stay little for long. The Anatomy of a Lie The Problem: Swimming test in PE. The Fear: Sheldon, despite his high IQ, is terrified of water and potential drowning (or just being uncomfortable). The Lie: Sheldon fakes a fever, convincing Mary he is deathly ill. The Guilt: As Mary dotes on him with his favorite soup, the guilt becomes too much to bear. In a hilarious montage, we see Sheldon's conscience manifesting, with even Batman calling him out on his dishonesty. The "Teenager Soup" Consequence Sheldon's fibging finally catches up with him.
