Despite its critical acclaim, the title remains trapped on seventh-generation console hardware (PlayStation 2 and Wii), suffering from resolution caps, framerate instability, and input latency. This paper explores the technical requirements and architectural modifications necessary to realize a "Definitive Edition" on modern PC hardware.
