Despite its utility, the Quick Access feature is not without its limitations. The primary risk is that of over-saturation. The utility of the tool relies on selectivity. If a user pins twenty folders, the "quick" aspect of Quick Access is diluted. When the list becomes too long, the user is forced to scroll, and the cognitive load returns as they must scan a long list to find their target. This phenomenon, often termed "shortcut fatigue," can render the feature cumbersome.

The human brain thrives on recognition and stability. In the realm of User Experience (UX) design, the concept of "cognitive load" refers to the amount of mental effort required to process information. Navigating deep folder structures imposes a high cognitive load; the user must remember where they are, where they came from, and where they are going.

Click and hold a folder, then drag it directly into the Quick access section in the left-hand navigation pane.
