"You asked to see the Kloska Catalogue," Halloway said. His voice didn't echo; the room was too lined with books for echoes. "Do you know what Kloska means, Elias?" He looked back at the photograph

He closed the book. The latch clicked shut, sounding exactly like the seal of a tomb.

"There are no new arrivals," Halloway said softly. "There are only things we have forgotten to remember."
