The Game Bar usually records only one application window at a time. It does not typically record the Windows Desktop or File Explorer. If you need to record your whole desktop (including navigating folders), use Method 2.

If you need to record 4K video, separate audio tracks, or stream to Twitch, the built-in tools may not be enough.
