Unlike some clumsy dubs that simply translate word-for-word, OK Jaanu re-recorded dialogues to fit the lips and cadence of Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The humor—especially the banter between Adi and Tara about her "Lucknowi tehzeeb" and his "Delhi-boy brashness"—lands perfectly.
