Revisiting the castle is like visiting an old friend. The frogs are still annoying. The ice levels are still slippery. And Pit is still the hero we need, even if he is a hamster.

At its core, (and its popular sequel, Froggy Castle 2 ) tells a classic tale of heroism. Players take on the role of a brave frog tasked with defending his kingdom from a mysterious invasion of floating, spherical creatures. Armed with nothing but a trusty slingshot (or specialized bubbles in later levels), the protagonist must navigate the treacherous corridors of his own castle to repel the intruders.

The game introduces a variety of environments that keep the visuals fresh. You start in the standard castle stone walls, but soon you are traversing icy caverns where traction is a suggestion, not a guarantee, and lush gardens where the foliage hides secrets.
