Ploypailin graduated from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and went on to earn a Master’s degree from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. This Western education exposed her to liberal arts, critical thinking, and a lifestyle distinct from the rigid protocols often associated with monarchy. It allowed her to develop a personality that is often described by observers as approachable and articulate, possessing a cosmopolitan ease that complements her royal status.
