Directed by Michael Caton-Jones, The Jackal is a loose remake of the 1973 classic The Day of the Jackal . The plot follows a cold-blooded, multi-disguised assassin known only as "The Jackal" (Bruce Willis), who is hired by the Russian mafia for a $70 million high-profile hit in the United States.
