Sometimes the generic Windows driver isn't enough to enable special features. In this case, you need the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) driver.

Windows 10 and 11 are designed to automatically fetch "Precision Touchpad" drivers. Before trying manual installs, let Windows do the heavy lifting. Go to > Update & Security (or Windows Update ). Click Check for updates .
