Once permissions are configured, the user has two primary methods for installation: the automated method via the ZXP installer or the manual method. For most users, the automated method is recommended. Bodymovin is distributed as a ZXP file, a packaged extension format used by Adobe. Because Adobe’s native extension manager can be finicky with third-party tools, the community standard for installation is a free, open-source tool called "ZXP/UXP Installer." The user must download this installer separately. After downloading the Bodymovin ZXP file from the official GitHub repository, the user simply drags and drops the file into the ZXP Installer window and clicks "Install." The software handles the file placement automatically.
