Windows does not have a native "Stereo Mix" button enabled by default anymore. You must use the Xbox Game Bar (Method 2) or Audacity (Method 3) to capture internal system audio.
: Set your Recording Device dropdown to your primary speakers or headphones labeled with (loopback) to capture internal system sound.
The updated Snipping Tool is the easiest way to record both screen video and microphone/system audio simultaneously without installing extra software.
: Click the Capture widget (camera icon) and press the Record button (the solid circle), or use the shortcut Windows Key + Alt + R .
