Roll a thin rope of putty between your hands. Press it firmly into the frame where the glass will sit. This creates a weather seal under the glass.

Measure the width and height of the frame opening (not the old glass). Subtract 1/8″ from each dimension to allow room for expansion. Example: Opening = 12″ x 24″ → Order glass = 11⅞″ x 23⅞″ replace window pane
