Owcp Schedule Award Calculator
High earners often calculate their expected award based on their actual salary, only to be disappointed when the OWCP applies the statutory cap. Always check the current maximum weekly rate for the fiscal year of your injury.
Doctors sometimes write reports saying, "The patient has 20% whole-body impairment." The schedule is specific to body parts. The OWCP generally does not pay for "whole person" impairment unless the injury is to an organ not listed on the schedule (like the heart or brain), which falls under a different subsection (Subsection (b)) and is much harder to claim. The doctor must specify the impairment to the scheduled member (e.g., the arm or leg). owcp schedule award calculator
