As the major platforms scramble to monetize every second of our attention, Webeweb offers a radical alternative: an internet that is boring by design, private by default, and yours to build. webeweb

Webeweb draws a line in the sand. It prioritizes "Human-Verified" content. The movement’s manifestos, often circulated via obscure newsletters and text files, argue that a machine cannot replicate the messy, imperfect, and beautiful essence of a human-curated webpage. connect a specific backend like Xano or Supabase

WebWeb is a new web technology that enables users to access and interact with the internet in a more streamlined and efficient way. It's designed to provide a seamless and user-friendly experience, making it easier for people to navigate and discover online content. WebWeb's architecture is built around artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning algorithms, which enable it to learn and adapt to user behavior, preferences, and interests. The traditional layered model of the World Wide Web treats pages, sites, and networks as discrete units. This paper introduces the concept of webeweb (Web of Embedded Web Ecosystems) to describe recursive embedding of web-based systems within one another—e.g., iframes, embedded social media feeds, API-driven micro-frontends, and nested WebViews. We argue that modern web architecture increasingly resembles a fractal structure, where each “web” contains other fully functional webs. Using case studies (e.g., embedded e‑commerce checkout widgets, federated wikis, and portable Web Components), we propose analytical dimensions for measuring recursion depth, autonomy, and cross-boundary state management. Finally, we discuss security and UX implications of webeweb architectures.
