The two sisters secretly meet at the border to play and bond. Tinker Bell learns that the Pixie Dust Tree (which provides all fairy dust) is sick because the frost never reaches its roots. The winter fairies’ job is to fly the Frost Crystal (a giant snowflake) over the tree once a year to keep its roots healthy. This year, the frost crystal is too heavy for the few winter fairies to carry.
